Feryxia is composition of ferric citrate which is highly effective at controlling Serum Phosphate levels, with unique pharmacodynamics properties.
Patients with CKD and Dialysis suffer from hyperphosphatemia. In addition, Iron can be severely depleted in dialyzed patients. Ferric citrate controls phosphorous and delivers iron in patients on dialysis.

The Iron is present in Ferric citrate and binds to the phosphates we take in through food. It helps our body to consume a limited amount of phosphates and also lowers it’s the amount in our blood.
It’s used to regulate phosphorus levels in dialysis patients, especially adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
