Description
Alpha Ketoanalogue tablet – capsules are used in prevention of deficient protein metabolism to cure chronic renal insufficiency. These tablets are intended for oral use. It is generally given to those patients whose glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is below 25 ml/min. Inclusion of maximum 40 g protein in daily diet is necessary to take the tablets. It should be taken only with proper prescription, and if not prescribed then a quantity of 4 to 8 tablets, thrice in a day during meals will be an ideal intake. It is beneficial for patients of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) as it can significantly delay dialysis initiation.
